INDIEpendensya will host a discussion on the national situation, followed by free master classes on filmmaking. An initial discussion on the national situation will aim to provide participating filmmakers background information on issues related to the theme. This will be followed by a series of master classes on story development, cinematography, film editing and directing, which will be given by esteemed filmmakers.
Student filmmakers entering the competition are required to attend the discussion on the national situation.
Please come to our orientation-discussion on the theme of INDIEpendensya, a call for Public Service Announcements on national sovereignty and independence. We will talk about the project, and show some examples of PSAs. There will be a resource person who will talk about the theme and answer any of your questions.

Attendance is required for student filmmakers who will join the competition. Master classes on filmmaking will immediately begin the week after, schedules to be announced during the orientation-discussion.
